For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the EU GDPR, and the UK Data Protection Act 2018, Xetical Ltd acts as the sole Data Controller for all personal information collected across our platforms and brand assets (including saasentia.com and codestoscan.com).

8. OneClick Location Switcher (Chrome Extension) Data & Privacy

If you use our browser extension, “OneClick Location Switcher,” the following specific privacy terms apply to comply with Google Chrome Web Store Developer Policies regarding proxy and network routing:

1. No Traffic Logging: When you utilize our proxy network to change your browsing location, we employ a strict no-logging policy. We do not monitor, record, log, or store your browsing history, DNS queries, visited URLs, or file downloads.

2. On-Demand Routing: The extension only routes your web traffic through our network when you explicitly click a country flag to initiate a connection. Traffic routing ceases entirely when you click “Disconnect,” or automatically after our 30-minute idle timeout feature engages. When disconnected, the extension does not monitor or interact with your web traffic in any way.

3. Permissions Justification: To provide core functionality, the extension requests the proxy, webRequest, declarativeNetRequest, and “all_urls” permissions strictly to authenticate and route your active connection to the geographic server you select. We use the storage permission to save your configuration, and the alarms and notifications permissions to manage data limits and our 30-minute automatic disconnect feature.

4. Account & Analytics Data: We generate a randomized User ID upon installation to manage your subscription tier. If you upgrade via Stripe, we securely process your billing email strictly to provision your data limits and facilitate account recovery. We may briefly detect your Home Country IP address upon opening the extension solely to display your origin location within the UI. We do not link this data to your browsing behavior.

The use of information received from Google APIs and Chrome Web Store permissions will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
